About
I like systems that never surprise anyone.
I’ve worked in infrastructure since 2022, but I’ve been breaking and fixing servers for much longer. It started with game servers back in 2009. I live in Poland and work remotely, in English or Polish.
In short
Most of my work happens on-prem. Linux and Windows servers, Proxmox, networks, monitoring, and all the glue that keeps it consistent. I use the cloud when it’s genuinely the better option for the job.
I care about a few things. Systems should be rebuildable from code, numbers should come from actual measurements, and the docs should make sense to a tired person at 3 a.m. You won’t find client names here, and the systems I write about are simplified on purpose.
Experience
2022 – now
DevOps Engineer
Software company · Poland
Keeping client infrastructure healthy, on-prem and in the cloud.
- Linux servers configured with Ansible, CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
- Monitoring, alerting and backups
- Office networks and VPN access
- Cloud work on AWS and GCP when a project needs it, including Kubernetes and Terraform
2020 – now
Independent infrastructure
Own lab
My own Proxmox lab, managed as code. It runs the services I use every day and it’s where I try things before I recommend them to anyone.
2009 – now
Game-server infrastructure
Community projects
Running servers for gaming communities. This is where I learned to run Linux in production.

Questions people ask
What do you actually do day to day?
Mostly on-prem stuff. Linux and Windows servers, Proxmox, networks, monitoring and backups, and the Ansible and pipelines that keep all of it in line. A bit of cloud when a project needs it.
Do you work remotely?
Yes. I live in Poland and work remotely, in English or Polish, whichever is easier for you.
Why are the case studies so short?
Because they describe real systems, and I’d rather not publish a map of them. You get the problem, what I did and how it went. Client and employer work isn’t shown here at all.
What’s the best way to reach you?
Email. The address is on the contact page behind an unscramble button, which keeps it away from spam bots.
